We believe discovering is about finding the answers. Finding your answers. Someone has to go first. Let us do that. We’re good at it. We are thorough. We will study the details. We will find things you and your team may not look for until next fall. That’s what we do. Wouldn’t you like to choose your path? We will discover problems and issues and tell you where to watch your step. Is that worth something? We think so. What would you do with the money you saved if we could save you three weeks before you ever started? It may be a question you’ve never been asked.
Working with Milestone always feels organic. The setup process is a journey of discovery. To me Milestone stands out for their thorough investigation. They also find simple ways to document and communicate what they find. I trust Milestone and their process. They are pivotal to my team’s success.

Everything is chaos until it’s not, and our approach to planning is unique. With our experience we will take what we’ve discovered and go first. We want you to join us in that. We simply believe the only valuable relationships in life are between people who talk. Seeing the plan come together gives both of us confidence that it will work. You can have the best plan in the world, but if people don’t believe it, top to bottom, it’s worthless. You will come out of the process with a plan you trust.
We’ve worked in the industry. We know what it’s like. Instead of finding out a detail needs to be changed six months from now, how valuable would it be to know that now? While you’re writing contracts and preparing bids, we’re looking for the next thing that may save you months. We’re both doing work that has to be done, and we’re both helping the end result. Our process will change the way you plan. Wouldn’t you like to plan better?
Milestone provides a service that no other consultant has ever provided to our projects. They bring valid construction experience to the table and work with my project staff to identify new ideas and alternative approaches. They remove the tunnel vision that we sometimes all get into while we are in the mud on a project. This information is provided in a team atmosphere. You can tell the ultimate goal of Milestone is to help us succeed on our projects.

Reports. Bar Charts. Critical Paths. Total Float. We know what these terms mean. You may too. But we’ve found the best way to tell someone something is never by using technical terms.
We want to show you your project in a new way. Milestone Planning Graphics are one of those ways. We’ll put your work on a picture. Pictures are easy to understand. Pictures show you the way.
Site photos are another way. We take lots of photos. We will walk the job site from end to end. Every time. Progress is never a question because we will put eyes and a camera lens on your work. But anyone can take a photo. That’s true, but when you’ve seen a lot of projects you come to realize that what you take pictures of is the secret. And we know that secret.
So we’ll meet and show you what we saw. Let’s discuss how to achieve “better.” Who doesn’t want “better?” The only agenda we have is the facts. And we’ll pass those facts onto you so you can move forward. We’ll discuss the plan. We’ll discuss life. Because the whole point of having a good plan is to free you up to do the things you really love.
So we’ve met. And we’ve talked. Now we will illustrate your new plan with graphics, photos, and reports that are easy to read, that won’t waste your time. We’ll write down what we’ve agreed on and we’ll send it to you. The next day. Because you have things to do. And we know that.
We will arm you with information that you can understand. We all answer to somebody, and those meetings are more fun when you have answers.
The pictures on the Cancer Center speak a thousand words. I do not get a chance to get down there as much as I would like to. You have really opened our eyes. You have a very good eye at pointing out areas that need attention. I just wish our superintendents could see these areas as well as you do. We appreciate the service and professional work ethic that Milestone provides during our time together.
We really appreciate the photographs to help document the status of our projects. This is a great example of the added value from The Milestone Group. If you were within reach I would kiss you!

Our eyes are always open. Are yours? What’s working? What’s not working? Could the planning have been different? We don’t think it’s ever too early to take a look around. We look forward and backward. How will this project shape the way your next six projects are built? We believe that if you’re not constantly learning you’re dying. Change doesn’t have to be bad.
So we’ll ask you how we are doing. We might ask more than once. We believe in achievement. We like report cards. Because if you’re never truly honest with how you’re doing how can you get better? Who doesn’t want “better?”
We want to share our mindset with you. You might notice we don’t have a services page. That’s not what we offer. What we do have to offer you is a new world view. A chance to see things from a different perspective. We truly believe life can be different in a good way. When do you want to get started?
Milestone challenges our team to be realistic, to THINK, and they logically demonstrate that they know what they are saying will work. They are not yes men but team players who contribute. We see Milestone as an extension of our staff. We are partners in the pursuit and execution of the project.
Many firms, from small local contractors to the largest CM firms I talk to state that Milestone provides a superior service and product when compared to what is available from their own on-site, management or in-house personnel. What’s the cost of not having objectivity, sound advice, fairness, expertise, experience, control, communication, honesty, accuracy, timeliness, efficiency and commitment to excellence on your team? What is the cost of delays due to inadequate planning of multi-million dollar jobs?
When we can’t see the forest for the trees you show us what we should be looking at. We walk by the same things every day and don’t see what you see. Every one of our jobs would benefit from having you as part of the team.
